Locksmith Pilar de la Horadada Town · La Torre · Mil Palmeras · Campoverde Call 24h

Night, weekend, fiesta, any hour

Emergency locksmith Pilar de la Horadada, with a person on the phone at any hour

The door blew shut with the keys on the table, the keys went missing somewhere between the beach and the car, a key broke off in the cylinder, the lock seized just as you were going out. Whatever the hour, ring: a person picks up.

  • A person answers, day or night
  • English and Spanish
  • Price agreed before any work
In warm low sunlight a man in a turquoise polo, tool bag in his left hand, shakes hands with a woman at a white doorway, a white van parked behind him

When you ring, three things help most: the part of the municipality and the street (or a WhatsApp pin), the type of door, and whether a neighbour or an agency holds a set. In return you get an honest estimate of the drive from wherever the van is at that moment.

After dark

Locked out, lost keys, broken keys: what the night calls are about

  • The door shut behind you

If it was only pulled to, the latch can usually be slipped back and the door opens without a scratch. How each kind of door is opened.

  • The keys are gone

Dropped in the sand at Mil Palmeras, left in a bar on the Pueblo Latino square, lost during the October fiestas. Once you are in, if a stranger could find them, a fresh cylinder goes in that night.

  • A key snapped or stuck

The stub is extracted and, if a worn cylinder caused the break, renewed. When a lock has been getting worse for a while, a planned change costs less than waiting for it to fail.

  • It will not lock

The latch has stopped catching or the bolts will not go across. Tonight it is made to lock; the proper fix is done in daylight.

  • Somebody forced it

First it is made to shut and lock; stronger hardware comes later, once you have spoken to your insurer. The steps after a break-in.

  • The keys are in the car

Opening a locked car has its own page, which is plain about what is and is not done.

Here, at night

Four things about this municipality that change a night call-out

El Mojón has two town halls

The boundary between the Comunitat Valenciana and the Region of Murcia runs through the middle of El Mojón, and some streets belong to Pilar on one side and San Pedro del Pinatar on the other. Say which, or send a pin. How to give an address in El Mojón.

The Río Seco splits the coast

The dry bed of the Río Seco runs between La Torre and Mil Palmeras. In the dark, “by the beach” could be either side; the name of the urbanization or the nearest bridge saves a detour.

Campoverde climbs

Pinar de Campoverde sits about 160 metres up, with streets climbing both sides of the riverbed and very narrow footpaths in its older part. A pin from your phone beats a street name there.

Summer Wednesdays in La Torre

In July and August the Wednesday evening market fills Avenida de la Costa Blanca. If you are near it, name a corner a van can reach. More about calling on a market evening.

Every part of the municipality, with the names people use for each, is on the page about where we go.

In order

From your call to a door you can lock again

  1. You call or send a pin

Where you are, what happened and what kind of door it is. A photo of the lock helps.

  2. You hear how far away the van is

An honest estimate for your address at this hour, never an invented number of minutes.

  3. You show the door is yours

ID with the address, a rental contract or booking, or the owner on the phone. If it is all inside, it is checked once the door opens.

  4. The price is agreed

The lock is looked at, the options explained, and the price settled before any tool touches it.

  5. You can lock up when we leave

Opened through the lock wherever it can be. If the cylinder had to come out, a new one goes in before we go.

Questions

Asked on the phone in the middle of the night

Is the phone really picked up in the small hours?

Yes, every night of the year. A person answers, asks where you are and what the door is doing, and someone comes out at night for anybody shut out of a home or a car.

Can you tell me now how many minutes you will take?

No honest locksmith can before knowing where the van is and where you are. On the phone you get a real estimate for your address at that hour, before anyone sets off, and a call if it changes.

The keys I lost have the house number on the fob. Is the lock still safe?

Treat it as not safe. The door is opened and the cylinder is replaced before the locksmith leaves, so the lost keys open nothing. Mention it on the phone so a suitable cylinder comes in the van.

Half the key is stuck in the cylinder. Should I try to pull it out?

Leave it. Pins, tweezers and superglue usually push the piece deeper or jam the cylinder for good. Keep the half you still hold: it shows how the key failed.

It is a rented house and the owner lives in another country. Can it still be opened?

Usually. Have the rental contract or booking on your phone, or the owner or agency ready to confirm by phone or message. If all of that is inside, it is checked as soon as the door is open.
